New Paragraph
The Lubricant Coatings we apply are designed to provide and maintain lubrication. We offer both solid film and dry film coatings. It is recommended to apply our dry film ceramic bonded coatings in applications in which oil, grease etc. will be the primary lubricant. They have superior properties in lubricant film retention due to their semi-porous and provide better lubrication if parts come into contact. Our solid film resin bonded coatings are best suited for dry applications or in special cases requiring some limited amount of "build-up". (Do note for most applications : especially high performance engines or high load surfaces, build-up coatings are NOT RECOMMENDED)
Thermal Barriers are coatings designed to reflect thermal radiation and/or reduce the thermal conductivity of a surface. We apply both reflective surfaces such as metallic ceramics, as well as a wide variety of resin bonded ceramic filled coatings; with a variety of corrosion and chemical resistance. Substrate temperature resistance is up to 2000F (1090C)
Thermal Dispersants are coatings that increase the thermal emissivity of a surface. They are good in applications with a clear line of sight free of high temperature thermal emitting objects, or thermally reflective surfaces. It is important not to confuse coatings with a high thermal conductivity (such our metallic ceramic coating which is best suited for convective heat transfer). Our coatings provide a surface with high emissivity and a corrosion resistant finish to substrate temperatures up to 1500F (815C).
Most of our coatings are extremely corrosion resistant, able to withstand hundreds of hours in a 5% salt spray solution. They can keep both ferrous and non-ferrous metals free from corrosion.
All of our coatings are generally between .00025 and .002 in thickness. The thermal barrier coatings can tolerate temperatures from 500F - 2000F+ (260C-1090C).
